I wish i would have went now. I was figuring we would get trashed. Awesome to see we won another game....the Miners are on a roll! Maybe we can win homecoming this year too.

The UMR-Truman game should be VERY interesting.

Ok is it wrong that i think UMR should cut the football program. I mean seriously they suck, although this year they obviously have improved. But a lot of profs have talked bout cutting the football program, not that it would ever happen but still. All the money that is spent on football could be used elsewhere, but thats my opinion. Anyway congrats to our WINNING football team

The touchdown that got us to 41 points was achieved through the most beautiful, unlikely, and awe-inspiring catch that I've ever seen. The elite group in attendance at this game will likely never forget the enormity of that event.

If i remeber right, didn't we beat CMS the last time we played them? I used to go there, and I remember them getting thier A**es handed to them last semester or so.

To the AC that wants to cut the FB team, I say NO WAY. Sure, we're not a FB school, but I got my undergrad at a school that didn't have a FB team, and we really missed it. We had other sports, of course, but they all played off campus, so it was never really a big deal. Its not so much about whether we're good or not, its about school pride, IMHO.

Good point, think of all the flowers you could buy instead of having a football team..... fuckin douches, you and your profs. I guess that since they don't benefit, it should be cut.

I dont play football anymore but i did in highschool, and we didnt have a winning team their either, its not about winning, i know it sounds stupid, but football is just fun to play and watch, most people can recognize with it, if youve never actually played the game before i wont be able to get my point across so im not even gonna try, its not about winning or losing its about the game, whoever first said that knew what he was talking about, i hope they dont get ride of the sport, least while im here, it adds a lot to the school wheather you want to admit it or not
