Im a freshman in Comp Sci but will probably switch my major to IST with a minor in Comp Sci next semester. I'll be a bit behind since IST requires stuff like psychology and english which I havent had yet. Im wondering if I can take the psych and english classes at UM-St. Louis over the summer where it will be cheaper since I live there and dont have to live in a reshall and have them transfer over to UMR so I dont need to take them here and can concentrate more on IST and Comp Sci.

All MU school credits transfer to other MU schools. Private schools (I live down by College of the Ozarks), though, you'd have to check with the registrar

Errr, not sure that link works. Got some PeopleSoft error message, saying I don't have the privacy settings or whatever. Am sure the registrar's office can tell you what will and won't. Probably direct you to a site on their little subsection or whatever

I have to compliment the department on this subject. SMIS will transfer just about anything if you're nice to your advisor. There are some very nice staff in the department, and they actually WANT to see students graduate.
Unlike many of the nasty old advisors in other departments who you will only ever see or talk to during registration week, and don't care to know who you are or remember your name even.
