WOW. "alot" is NOT A WORD. I learned this in gradeschool. I swear, the longer I'm here the less I feel like having a college education should actually mean something.

Everone knows what u, ur, 2, etc actually mean.. those are ways to type a word faster. "alot" is something people really think is a word. Sorry I wasn't clear enough for you, buddy. Git yourself registered.

for a school that's supposed to have some of the most intelligent students, probably half of them aren't smart enough to spell common, every day words. if you can't spell it, don't write it.

How odd. In this case, "every day" should have been spelled "everyday," meaning mundane or common. I doubt you mean "once-daily words."
