So, am settling down some my Dinty Moore roast beef dinner, and there's a knock on the door. I get my pudgy ass up, answer the door, and there was this girl there trying to sell me some cologne. If I remember right, I thought that that was one of our "rights" as someone living in the dorms; we wouldn't get people trying to sell us stuff at our door.

They aren't allowed in TJ. Call the front desk or tell your RA as soon as it happens if it happens again.

better yet, send me an email and i'll be right over.

A paintball gun set at around 150 fps (half of the normal useage speed) should send a decent message. But then agian I have no respect for salespeople.

And no, it was for some sort of fundraiser sorta thing. Gave me this laminated card with a list of all the stuff they sold, and even had free samples in a backpack on her back.

Might of been high school, but if she was over 18, I'll eat something icky. Is the first time it's happened to me while in the dorm. Only thing I can compare it to is when those church guys corner you and force fliers and bibles on you

They used to do that to us when I worked at hardees, we would just go into the men's bathroom and put all their propaganda in the urinal, that ways we (and the customers) had the privledge of pissing on it.

They would literally hunt us down. If we tried to go around them, they would follow you. They wouldn't go past the sidewalk infront of EE, but that parking lot there by Newman is still UMR owned, and they would have guys out roaming that. Isn't that against some kind of rule? Something about we not having to be hassled while on campus?

I feel violated. UMR isn't looking out for my rights.

Protect your own damned rights. Tell them to get the hell off of your fucking campus. Better yet, kick the shit out of one of those tools and see if they come around again. I bet if you told them that God cries because they're assholes they'd go home to pray or something and leave us all the hell alone.

However much I like THAT particular insult against these idiots perpetually engaging in dumbassery (new word!), you really do need to just kick them in the junk.
