Im so fucking tired of my chem lab teacher and TA. They have absolutely no fucking idea whats going on. The fact that my lab partner speaks about 2 words of english below a whisper doesnt help either.

Is this supposed to be a formal lab report? If so im McScrewed!

Yeah, it's probably the most disorganized class I'm taking right now, which is saying a lot since I have Chem 1 as well.

and since when did teachers dtop teaching? we're expected to know eveything about the lab without them telling us anything

Ahhh...I remeber Chem Lab. Had a lab partner singe off his arm hair during the gas chromatograph experiment. Human hair emits a very distictive oder when burned...

Ok, this quiz is fucking ridiculous. Ive gotten(?) one of the answers so far after like 30 minutes and im just fucked on the rest.

Chem lecture and lab are the 2 most pointless classes i have, everything is self taught. The questionaire we took in lecture last week was a joke. Most of the stuff we do in lecture doesnt even have to do with our homework.

Chem lab is just a joke. We go to the class before, then as we go to the actual lab the TA's change everything around. Then when we ask questions and there all shocked that we dont know what to do.

Another things that pisses me off is the chem lab book. We spend like 5 minutes correcting the damn thing. Then we have do buy a supplementary thing for $5 thats some cheap xerox that in some places you can hardly read.

Good ole Dr. Long. He was never in the room for more than 5 minutes when I had the class, if he ever was. And that was to yell at us. We all eagerly awaited the end of the semester and teacher evaluation forms only to be told by the TAs at the end that we couldn't evaluate Dr. Long.

Our TA's actuall yhelp us out a lot, they dont seem to mind i have no idea what im doing, laugh at me for a few seconds thne help me out, i dunno maybe i just got lucky...

Quit yer bitchin. I agree chem 1 and 2 really suck, but everyone's got to take them. So, just suck it up and do it. Besides, chem 1 and 2 are two of the easiest classes on this campus. And with the quizzes...read the labs dipshits and you won't have a problem and if you're still having trouble, borrow someone's file from a previous semester. And Dr. Long does suck ass, but you've got to take him with a grain of salt.

teachers are supposed to teach. thats what they get paid to do. why should we just suck it up and accept shitty class organization? i want it to change and i bet a lot of people agree.
we're expected to know everything without them teaching us. Why am I paying for that when I can read my book at home?
