This Thursday, Theta Tau Omega will be hosting our final "Pizza Night" of the semester from 9pm--midnight at the Top Hat Lounge (located on Rolla St. across from the florist). There will be Imo's pizzas for sale by the slice or by the pie, as well as great pizza/pitcher specials. All proceeds will be donated to needy local charities through the PCCP (Phelps County Community Partnership).

If you haven't been to the Top Hat lately, you should check it out. It is under new management and is vastly improved from previous semesters.

doesn't the grotto also have imos pizza on thursday nights? is tha theta tau or just regular pizza?

also, a warning to all you minors who like to drink at the top hat. one of these days the cops are going to bust that place hardcore. i'm surprised they haven't done so yet.

Last Thursday, Theta Tau Omega was selling Imo's Pizzas at the Grotto as a one-time only event, much like we are this Thursday at the Top Hat. However, you can order a non-Imo's pizza anytime at the Grotto regularly (I think they are those 99 cent Totino's pizzas, but I might be wrong).

But actually I prefer going to the Ground Round for drinking. They have two for one draft specials every night of the week... And they have good beer at that. Mmm... Boulevard Wheat.

Yeah, Bethany and Sarah always hook us up whenever we go there. And the bartender Rob too.

I do believe I'm going to go there tomorrow night for their two for one burgers... Getting a half pound bacon cheeseburger (with pepper jack cheese) for $3 is a steal... Especially ones as good as at Ground Round.

yeah, but add a soda and tip, and you are spending $10 easy. plus the service is pretty shitty if you sit at the bar nowadays. corey and liefer used to hook us up at the bar, and when ross used to bartend we'd get excellent service. but that was over teh summer. now i dont' know any of the bartenders. even when the bar was 1/3 full with 2 tenders i had to wait 15 minutes for a soda refill.

but, GR has definatly treated me well in the last year. best sports bar in town, and really great drink specials and prices. i just wish they had micheloeb on tap still. or rolling rock. or henieken or world select...the thing i like the most is that all beer costs the same. so you can drink a nice beer or import beer and not get your ass charged

but lets talk about bad bars

i HATE all stars. with a passion. i don't know of any other bar in the world that will sell you a pitcher of beer, and then kick you out 5 minutes later.

"we just bought this pitcher like a minute ago"
"well you better chug it or get out"

are you seroius!? what happened to last call! and then they have the miller light fucks there all the time peddling their inferior beer product. now i don't have a big deal with miller light trying to advertise their product, but when they make specific commercials that insult me and my beer choices i get a little offended. and they don't just make fun of budweiser and bud light, they make fun of people who drink import beer too (that's you, boulevard drinkers!)

but thats just what i think...!
