The thing that bothers me most about this election, is that whenever I ask people why they are voting for Obama very few have any clue about anything he does. The only two answers I seem to get are, "There is just something I don't like about McCain," or "I don't want four more years of the same thing." Way to just spout out answers you hear from douchebags on T.V. It just seems that simply because Obama is the smooth talking star candidate who is endorsed by things like MTV and Rolling Stone is the only reason people are voting for him. I honestly wouldn't care if people voted for Obama, but seriously please learn more about your candidate other than the fact that every celebrity out there loves him.

McCain used to be cool and I liked the guy apart from the extremely dick move he pulled on his first wife. Then the 2008 election came around and his campaign turned him into a total douche. He just says so many things about Obama that are flatout lies. I've lost all respect for the man.

BTW I'm not an 'Obama supprter' or whatever. I think the national level of politics is total bullshit but if I were voting it wouldn't be for McCain anymore.

edit: And the only thing I've heard people say good about McCain are lower taxes for the rich (baffles me as to why they approve, not like the distribution of wealth in the US is EXTREMELY sided with them as is or anything) and blah blah APPROVED BY THE NRA

No, only good people get assassinated.

The Dems registering fake voters at best balances out the strong efforts of the GOP to disenfranchise minority votes.

did you really just argue "two wrongs make a right"?

No. I in fact made no argument at all.

Because we are angry and filled with various flavors of hate?

You're a moron. I don't believe I have to explain myself.

Disclaimer: I'm not an Obama-supporter. In fact I voted for neither.

Technically since McCain won Missouri, none of us can be responsible for Obama winning the election considering any votes for him had no effect on the number of electoral college votes he received...

Since they already decided Obama won, our votes don't count. If Missouri fell off the face of the planet, he would still win.
