Oh, I know it's fake in some regard, but this is interesting as well.

It's the same company a few years ago. Also interesting is Google cacheing steorn.com, it's basically the same site, only less fancy and a few years old.

Thats actually pretty true, however to extract the oil from the shale it takes a lot of energy, and you have to strip mine the enviroment (AKA completley destroy it) to obtain the shale. Not really a good idea.

Canada also has vast reserves of tar sands, with a LOT of oil in them, however you also have to strip mine to get them. Lets just concentrate on making more efficient vehicles, and maybe walking and biking more places, than further destroying the earth. Even though there is more oil in the Rockies and Canada, it is not limitless.
