This summer when i go home, i have my computer in my room wired via wireless router. I will also have my 360 via VGA adapter. I have both a wireless NIC and wired. is there a way that i can plug my 360 into my computer and connect them both to my router? is there some kind of program I would need?

Use a wired crossover cable for between the xbox and the computer. Go into Network Connections, select both your wired and wireless LAN connections and choose to bridge the connections. Of course your xbox will only have an internet connection while your computer is running.

I can show you in person if you'd like, but here's the jest of it'

You want to assign a "static ip" both on your computer and under your 360 network settings. ***This is only the 360, and the wired network port*** don't touch the router, or your Wi-Fi

Easy enough on the 360, just give it a static ip like 192.168.0.101 w/ the standard subs underneath.

For the computer, right click on the network card (in network neighborhood) go to properties, then under properties you'll see TCP/IP or similar. Open the properties window, click to assign ip and then match it up with the 360 (like 192.168.0.102).

Now they should be connected to each other, just try to stream music or something to make sure. I'm not sure how to setup the bridge from memory, but it's not very hard at all. Just havn't done it in a while.

Remember that you need a crossover cable to connect them up directly. A normal cable won't work. If you don't have one, I can make one for getting me a higher score then "H" in G.Wars:)
