What the heck are they supposed to be? JavaBeans, not Black Beans. I'm working with Java Server Faces and JSP, and we have a class and a classbean, and basically the bean just reimplements the class with some added features. Any light on the subject would be great.

The only beans I know of that have anything to do with java is Netbeans IDE. Granted I've only taken 1 semester of Java, but that's still the only thing that comes to mind.
