So a day or two after just finishing a massive file cleanup and subfoldering of my entire music library I cannot access anything in my "My Music" folder. There are three folders inside, New Music, Ripped Music and Downloaded music and now when I try to access any of the folders it gives me for example: E:\Mydocuments\my music\new music is not accessible access is denied. After cleaning up the files, I reassociated my documents with a file on my media drive and I cannot remember if I accessed the music after doing this. However the mp3's seem to be on the hard drive still since doing a properties on all of the folders only adds up to 140 gigs which is 20+ shy of the used space on the drive. Anyone have ideas as to what could have caused this or how to fix the situation? Currently I'm downloading knoppix and will try to boot from a cd and view the files outside of windows. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
