Go ahead, say it to the Mickey Mouse Club Theme.

if they've sold more than 2 I'd be suprised. Who in their right mind would buy a thumb drive that is extremely easily lost if it costs 2500 dollars to replace?!

It also takes 45 days, 12 hours, and 16 seconds to fill it up. I dont think anyone has that kind of time to wait for 64GB.

How long till actualy hard drives are outdated, and everything is on flash memory? You think about the sive difference, your average 3.5" hard drive would hold about around 5.5TB, assuming the technology doesn't improve at all. I don't know what I would do with that much space.

by that time, the newest games will consume 15-30 GB of space. Believe me, you'll find a way to fill it up.
I remember when my dad bought an 810MB harddrive. I thought it was huge and I could never fill it up with anything. Average game size was 30 MB and Windows 3.11 wasn't that large either.
Those were the days, when DOS games ruled the Earth.
Looking forward again, what will really be interesting is when we go into Blockbuster and rent movie cards instead of DVD's. Think of a jump drive with only one movie permanantly burned into its non-volatile memory that you plug into a "player" that is comparable to a USB Hub.

Eh, physical media is about to be wiped out. Maybe even as soon as the HD-DVD/Blu Ray phase disappears could we see the mass public rise of electronically distributed media. And thank goodness, it's been too long in coming.
