what about perhaps a free one?

"Sound of a man saying "You are using a trial version" every 30 seconds, over the converted audio" isn't going to do me much good.

dbpoweramp is free... you just have to find an mp3 encoder... google will turn them up.

dbPowerAMP comes with a mp3 encoder based on LAME.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but..

I'm a firm believer in Foobar2000 (http://www.foobar2000.org) useage for all my open-source playback needs. Out of the box it's very rudamentary, but if you install the LAME encoder, I'm almost positive you can convert WMA to MP3.

I would try, but I converted all of mine months ago. Suprisingly I was able to cheat iTunes into doing it, if you set it's import type to MP3 instead of AAC, whenever you import a WMA, right click and select "Convert to MP3" (or, select all and do the same).

Hopefully one of those will work out.
