 Post subject: changing file types

hey guys. this should be really easy, but i can't figure it out. how do you change a CD Audio file to an MP3 file? thanks in advance

You will probably need to define what a "CD Audio File" is, whether is be wav or something, I don't really know. If it is wav, most any audio player will change it to mp3, like Winamp etc. You can also find many little programs to do it for you, there is a site quite useful for finding programs like that, but I forget its name. Its like Poogle.com, or Zoogle.com, or something like those. Maybe somebody else knows.

You encode it. You need an mp3 encoder, such as LAME, and a frontend, such as Audiograbber. Those are free, google 'em!
