I have 2 monitors and monitor 1 will randomly go black. It doesn't shut off because the light is still solid green and it doesn't lose the signal from the computer because it has a different screen for that. I turn the monitor off and then on again and then it works just fine. Monitor 2 works 100% of the time.

I have one that does that, it's just getting old. I'm too cheap, however, to buy another one so I'll use it until it craps out for good.

If yours is fairly new though, maybe you don't have a big enough power supply to handle everything.....just a thought

Eh, I guess the monitor is getting old enough to start acting up. Seems to be doing fine now, so I'll see.

Have you tried dragging it out in the streets and publicly humiliate it? That usually works with my printer...

I gave it a good cleaning and beat my video card into the slot. Seems to be working.
