| Post subject: | Outlook 07 issues |
First, I have searched the forums and didn't come up with a solution. I am trying to setup outlook 2007 using helpdesks walkthrough for 2003. My problem comes up when you type your user name and click check name. I have tried mst-users\userid and just the user id, and yes, i am on campus, no VPN. |

First go here https://itweb.mst.edu/auth-cgi-bin/cgiw ... analyze.pl then click Exchange Mailbox. Look under Mailbox Server (i.e. mst-vmail3) On Outlook 07 for the server name instead of minermail.mst.edu put mailbox server + .srv.mst.edu (i.e. mst-vmail3.srv.mst.edu) Hopefully everything should work then. |

Just an FYI, you can use outlook.mst.edu as the server when setting up Outlook and it will automatically find which server you are on. |
