i just happened to obatin a free copy winxp pro when i purchased a cd-rom (i guess they forgot it was inside of it) and was wondering, is there a way to find the key in the cd? i wouldnt want a good copy of xp pro go to waste.

yes

there is a working keygen out there (on the internet)... I use it everytime I install XP Pro (once every few months)... I got it from suprnova, so I would check there... if it's not there lemme know and I'll see if I can get it to you (my linux server went toe-up this weekend so I am having trouble getting to my files right now)
