I have 2 GB of DDR2 RAM running at PC 5400 that I wish to trade for some standard DDR RAM. If you upgraded your motherboard and have some old RAM lying around, this is the way to get an upgrade.

The RAM I have consists of the following:
*I have one module that is 1 GB and non-ECC. I forgot the brand but can check back later.
*I also have 2x512MB ECC modules that can be used in any board that supports ECC. Dual channel operation is supported but not required for this RAM to work. I think this is Samsung.

If you wish to trade for either or both of these sets, let me know. I am looking to trade gigabyte for gigabyte if possible. I would prefer mostly PC3200 RAM but would consider some PC2700 mixed in. I also prefer 256MB or larger modules but might take a 128 MB also depending on the offer. I am also interested in Intel Socket 478 CPUs in trade for this including Pentium 4 and Celeron types. I would also consider Intel 775 along with AMD socket 754 and 939 CPUs provided a WORKING motherboard is included.

I would also consider purchasing some Socket 478 CPUs outright if you upgraded to something faster and just have the old cpu lying around doing nothing. Just give me a price.

You may call me at 573-368-3216 or e-mail at cwatkin@umr.edu.

Thank you,

I recently had a message on my phone that I couldn't understand all but a few words of. It sounded like a cell phone with a lot of static.

Anyways, I heard something about a 1.6 GHZ CPU and 512 MB RAM and that was it. If this was someone here, try me again at 573-368-3216 or e-mail at cwatkin@umr.edu.

Thanks,

I have a few changes to make. This is only PC4200 RAM (DDR533) and NOT PC5400 as I thought earlier.

Also, the ECC sticks are PC4300 and are MICRON.

The single 1 GB module is Hynix branded.
