I wouldn't mind getting that DVD player upconverter. I would like to test it first if you don't mind. Are you strict on the prices or would you be willing to take $25-30 for it? Thanks.

I'm not really strict on prices for most things, just on that. The main cool factor for that DVD player isn't the HDMI and upconverting, but rather its ability to play DivX files.

So, if you're interested in it for $35, we can have you test it out before you pay. PM me.

It's this one here. I can also include a [short] optical cable, if needs be.

I always have a bit of everything, really. My basement looks like a warehouse.

Remember, prices are negotiable. I'm surprised that no one's jumped at the $30 DivX player though. You can put nearly seven full length, DVD quality movies on one single-layer DVD and watch them in the player. Not to mention, most of the movies available 'out there' are already in DivX (.avi) format.

I think a lot of people have xbox's or other media center type devices to stream media. My brother has a divx player and they are nice, and that is a good price. I'm just not in the market

That's what I assumed. Thanks for the input, though. :)
