Don't want or need that NI data acquisition board for ME240? I'll buy it. 75 dollars, or best offer.

That's actually a great idea. Once you have one, please let me know if you get any other offers. I've been wanting that whole set if possible since I heard about it last year.

Can't you buy it at the bookstore? I did. They never asked if I was in ME 240. It represents about a $800-1000 value of products that NI sold at a loss.

Hope you still can, otherwise you snooze you lose I guess.

Already took the class, but you're right. I could probably buy one at the bookstore. And I probably will if no one wants to sell theirs.

Competing 12-14bit USB daqs sell new for about 100 new. Its the NI software that really hikes the price.

However, ~99 percent of *mechanical* engineers will not use that daq after class. CS and EE's maybe, but not ME's. Really. I'm just trying to pick up the pieces.

Hence why I give you points for the idea and will gladly stand second in line.

No problems or complaints there. I have a slightly different perspective since my interest area is controls, automation and instrumentation. 240 was two years ago for me. But this should make my 242 project an out and out breeze, not to mention the possibilities for .VI switched control of external systems, turning the DAQ board into a poor-man's PLC. That kind of stuff makes me...interested.

Good luck with your search.

I forgot to mention that when I spoke with Contrell, he said that he wanted to make it so that 240 became the start to a series of classes that used the DAQ so no one's probably going to sell theirs for at least another semester.
