Model: PC MT6
Type: Medion MT 164

It has 2 slots for cd/dvd drives and a built in multi card reader.

Looks exactly like this:

Heh, know what's ironic? I just got into replacing caps on motherboards not that long ago. Sorry bud.

And btw, for anyone interested. I think I remember that case being very solid.

Isn't Medion a brand only marketed by Aldi?

That wasn't meant to be a dig, my mom bought a laptop from there. It was a surprisingly well built machine. I just hadn't heard many people talk about that particular brand.

Sorry if i sounded rude... it was meant to be informational in the fact that it was a great machine for being sold at a grocery store. I had it for about 5 years and didnt have any previous problems until it Blue-Screened on me. I opened it up and some of the capacitors are buldging out... I would buy another computer from them if they would sell one... but i already got a great one now.

In fact, most of the stuff being sold here came out of that machine.

Those things are awesome. Got a few packs in the freezer right now.

If I remember right, they also have/had some of the better prices on TDK DVDs.
