I need to wire some of the house we just got, and I don't have enough long wires. I need to buy some wire off somebody that has some bulk wire. And if you also have the rj-45 and a crimper thats great. I know somebody was doing this during the school year, but is anybody here right now that can help?

If not where in Rolla can I get long cables?

I've got some wire and crimpers. The wire is Cat-5 (naturally) and is in runs of ~50 or 100 ft. I don't know for sure, though, I haven't actually measured it. I do know they're way longer than my 25 footer I made a while back. I'll need to find the crimpers somewhere in the house, but I've got those, too. I don't have ends, but I can pick those up at Eagle or the Shack sometime.

How long of a run are you planning to make? I'll do (oh I don't know...) 25¢/foot on cable + 50¢ for both ends.

Obviously, I can't get the ends tonight, but PM or e-mail me your contact info and we can set up a meeting time tomorrow.

Edit: Scratch the part about the crimpers. I just found out they're back at my parents' place. D'oh.

The Lowe's on 63 (I think it's a Lowe's, it's just north of 44) has cat-5 wire in stock and would most likely have any length that you would need. I know that they have ends sa well and I wouldn't doubt that they would have crimpers if you're looking to buy

555 TJ South. I am in OSHA training through Friday at like 6 PM. I am fairly free otherwise, just let me know so I can get the crimpers from my office in McNutt.

I already picked up the cable (there was quite a bit, thanks )
and I bought RJ-45 connectors, so I got everything I need.
I'd like to do this as soon as possible so both of us in the house can have the internet. I'm still looking for a job after coming back from Germany so I'm free pretty much all day. Just let me know when I can come by and we'll get this done.

I didn't actually take them.
I stopped by to see if you were there but missed you, I never took the crimpers.
Because we got so much cable I think we will sell it to people that need individual cables, so we bought our own.
