Anyone know what kind of prices web pages are costing these days? Not to host them, just to develop (and maintain?) them. I was wondering because I was passed along an offer to build a website for my Uncle's brother who is a musician, but I don't really have any idea what my services would be worth. Thanks in advance if anyone has any info or insight.

I've seen many people offering to do small sites (less than 10 pages) for about $25-$50, depending on degree of difficulty. For more complicated sites, I'd figure you're worth between $6-$10 an hour, unless you're a "web page god." (But if you were, you wouldn't be asking this, would you?)

I did http://www.demolitionball.com for $100. That price was for development and maintaining it for a year. I hope this is a good reference for you to use.. otherwise bigfattitty's pricing chart works pretty good. :)
