I'm off campus using a cable modem, and I can't get into seek42 at all, but I can when I dial-up to the umr server. Any suggestions?

you cant access seek42 outside of the local network, when you dial-up to you umr you are on the network, just at slow speeds. with cable, you arent.

I have a similar problem, but when I'm visiting home from UMR and using my local springfield ISP, your web addy (http://131.151.185.190:8080/) doesn't work.. Now when Im in rolla and dial in to umr, it doesn't work either, but the normal (http://seek42/) does fine. Obviously, this cable modem guy has a similar problem and Id be interested to know if the ip addy works for him on cable... especially since im considering getting fidnet cable in the near future.

Even better; does the web addy even work any more?
