if you had a username password setup for seek42 then i don't think it would be a problem, cause then your not facilitating public use of copyrighted software

that is a good point, i mean i am a comp sci. and i am gettin free crap and not paying the people who make it. in a few years i will be making the software so how do i justify it to people to buy my stuff then???

I'm a CIS major. Question how much of the software you get free would you buy if you didn't pirate it. Office for ex. there r free suites like Sun's staroffice. yea its not as nice and pretty as the one's you pay for but it is free and between that and a couple hundred dollars I'd get use to StarOffice. My point is for this and for mp3s. If the public could not get it for free they would do without in most cases. I still buy software and cd's even though i could get them for free. Why because I want the original cd's or support the authors company
