Seek is not indexing my computer.
I have the indexing time set for midnight, and my computer is always on overnight.
How would I go about getting it to index all my stuff?

Try enabling guest account and killing any personal firewalls you may have

Seek42 attempts to log into your computer with the username "seek42" and a blank password. Just create a user account under that name. Give it access to list files, but not to download them. You will have to play with permissions and inheritances a little bit. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, ask somebody else.

ok..i set up an account on my computer name "Seek42" with a blank password, and all of the permissions, but it still hasn't indexed me.
the last time it indexed my computer was 12/31/69 18:00:00

do i need to wait longer?
