Hello,
I know this is probably an obvious noob question, but i was wondering if the server that run's our webpages (http://www.umr.edu/~umr_student_name) has any sql (mysql?) and php functionality that would allow you to write code to implement user forums, and other items such as world-viewable real-time data.

Thanks,
Aaron

no php, and no mysql that I know of, but it does have either mod_cgi or cgi access compiled in, so if you know perl and can do some cgi your set to go. otherwise run mysql and php on your own box and open up port 8080.
