I am a current member of the Voyager community and just recently read the previous posts on the program. I wanted to ask everyone if they had positive suggestions for next years program to make it better or more acceptable to the rest of campus. If there are enough responces I will bring them to the attention of next years staff.
We have all heard the complaints so please leave them out. I am looking for good suggestions not "You should kill the program.", however that will probably be said now that I mentioned it.

Voyager should have to follow the same rush guidelines as fraternities. It makes things fair when it comes to recruitment. Both are learning communities, etc. Only difference is Voyager doesn't have their own house (their own floor, I guess that's close enough...).
But seriously, Voyager should follow rush guidelines.
CUT VOYAGER!
Yes, that's right, kill the program altogether! Not only will you not have the Voyager kids doing stupid shit and acting like a bunch a faeries, you won't have a reason for Seville to keep his ugly, dick-packed ass around, there will be one less waste of money in Rolla, and we won't have long threads like this one popping up in the middle of the night.
That reminds me, I meant to ask before. What is the future of Seek42? Will it be around next year, or after Ryan gets his parole from Rolla?

I've got some advice for next year's voyager. If you actually want the program to be successful, try to have a smaller group of people. Personally, I think there were way too many people in this year's group to function as an actual "community". I really think that voyager should be limited to 2 floors max (1 for girls and 1 for guys). What has been said about many rooms being vacated is true because i know of quite a few singles on the 11th floor at least since people moved around and left. It's just a waste of space.
Another problem with voyager this year was the lack of an actual RA on some of the floors. Quite a few times this year, the 11th floor has been filled with the sound of people screaming and yelling after midnight. Most normal people would like to try to get to sleep around then, or at least begin to relax. Unfortunately, many people on 11 just love to "celebrate" days of the week. They ruin the bathrooms, throw up right in front of the elevator, ect. I haven't heard of even a warning given to these people. So for next year, I think a real RA on each floor would be nice.
Here's something for all of those people who hate all voyager students though. Not everyone in the group is one of seville's toadies. Some people actually didn't like the program much at all and are glad to be getting out of it at the end of the semester.
There, some of that was actually helpful criticism.
