Does anybody know of a utility that can resume "downloads" over the local network? something like getright?
I use getright a lot, and it works well for me, but it only works for ftp/http downloads...no help for resuming a file download off the local network that got aborted mid-way.

well, I could tell you how to do it with dd in any unix flavor, but if you're talking about getright you've probably got windows.......
hey, speaking of non-windows clients, has anyone been able to download anything through the browser of a non-windows machine using seek42? the direct download link always brings me to Ryan's standard "there was an error" page.
