okay, why does XP have to automatically chose each file display as "thumbs" or "details". sure, i use details a lot, but when i'm browsing the network i have enough common sense and curteosness to the remote users computer to switch to icons or list.
my computer is being KILLED by several idiots trying to download thumbs in my movies directory, and id3 tags in my music directory!!!! and i can't close the connections because everytime i shut one its already done downloading and is downloadingt he nex.t multiply this by 400 mp3s and i am really pissed off youd think at a school like this people would be more computer savvy but i guess not

whoa shit i never even thought about that... i feel like such a dumbass now.
that also explains why pretty much whenever anyone is connected to my computer it runs like complete ass.
