does anyone have the new godsmack acustic album that just came out shared.

it comes out Tuesday.

The first 2 godsmack CD's kicked ass. Awake has been one of my favorite albums since i picked it up a year and a half ago....love it....track 7 (no clue on the name) is badass. The first album is almost as good (Lets take a trip to the moon baby......

However, i think Faceless sucked. Straight out of Line and Reallign were OK, but the rest of the CD wasn't very good....just didn't sound like the old Godsmack.

I'm hoping this new acoustical CD is good....they need to redeem themselves after how poor Faceless is IMO.

I heard a few songs on the radio this weekend and I have to say I was kinda impressed. I didn't think a band as heavy/low tuned as they are would be able to pull off accoustic stuff but I like what I've heard so far.

faceless isnt that bad of an album even though their best songs are off the older albums, my least favorite song on it was serenity, but once they started playing it on the radio it got better, im looking forward to hearing this new one

Okay, I've been a Godsmack fan forever, so here goes:

The Other Side (the new Godsmack album) is very, very good, in my opinion. On the first listening, I wasn't very impressed. But, the more and more I heard it, the more and more I liked it.

All of the songs are good, but the stand-out track has to be Asleep (the acoustic version of Awake). While most of the songs are just an acoustic version of the originals, Awake was completely redone (with a few different lyrics) and, in my opinion, improved overall.

The only downfall of the album is how short it is (only seven tracks).

It's not as good as their first album (their best, in my opinion), but much better than Faceless (their worst, although still good).

It's pretty much on par with their second album (Awake), just much shorter.

I wish they'd to do Bad Religion what they did with Asleep.
