Hey guys,

Just got an external CDRW from pigeonhole--works great, using it right now in fact. My problem is, I've committed to giving it to my dad and I WANT ONE FOR MYSELF! (The object is to externalize my DVD-RW while keeping my OEM CDRW and DVDROM in the case--ah, the woes of owning an mATX case....) My request is as follows:

I need one of two things:
1) Another External CDRW to replace this one to give to my dad.

-or-
2) An optical drive externalizing cage. Just need it for one drive, so doesn't need to be multi-drive.

Let me know what you guys have laying around. Really interested in getting my computer to look OEM from the front while maintaining DVD burning capabilities.

C'mon, nobody has one of these? Hell, I'll take another one exactly like the one I got from pigeonhole... Sony Spressa 4x4x6 CDRW... hell, you can even keep the drive in it, I don't need it...

Anyway, no chance you've got an internal CDRW that would fit in a Sony VAIO laptop (old skool, like p2/350mhz w/64mb RAM)?

I don't want to try to rig up an external cage, but if that's what it's gonna take...

I just can't justify spending the $30 plus shipping to get one of these cages. Grr... You guys always have old junky shit laying around. I just want one...
