I was wondering if anyone has taken this class and what it is like. No one on my floor has taken it so I have no idea what to expect. Thanks in advance.

Easy as cake. EMAN 209 and 211 are the easiest classes i've taken on campus. In 211, I didn't go to class, didn't study and still pulled an A in the class.

Most pointless class I have ever taken at UMR. A bunch of big words that EMan professors made up to talk about things that everyone already knows but didn't think were worth talking about, since they were so unconciously obvious.

Anyway, it's pretty easy, except for the stupid project Cox (if you get him) makes you do. For the tests, just cram straight off the chapter summaries a couple of days before, and then poop it out on the paper and forget about it.

This semester he has people break up into groups of nine, to play this wrestling business simulator called Extreme Warfare Revenge. We're supposed to run it like a real business, and use the junk we learn in class. A quarter of the grade for this thing was a quiz about pro wrestling terminology. Another quarter is the many-page final report the group turns in. Go figure.

I noticed E-Man 209 is a requirement for MEs.

Is this something you can take at any time in your program of study? I know certain E-Man courses can only be taken as seniors, or have senior status as a recommendation.

Is this class a time hole? Or do you have to devote much time to it at all?

You can take it anytime. We actually have a freshman in our class. It's not really a time hole. There's no homework. You're just busy before tests, and I assume we'll be really busy during dead week when the project is due.

Heh, I used to play EWR in my spare time. Now they use it on campus to teach. Maybe I should go into E. Man.

Yeah, we had to do the WWF thing for him too... Why WWF? I'm not sure.
