So, uh, holy fucking shit, this game is incredible. Anyone played through it yet? Just beat it the first time through, and it's absolutely the best plot of any game I have ever played... Ever. Supposedly the first of a trilogy (god I hope that's true).
You've played through it once already? Did you do the side quests? I've been playing for about 12 hours and I've only just left the citadel; but I've been doing all the sidequests. It is a good game though.

Yeah, I pretty much dedicated my life to it. Finished level 50, 28 hours, did every single side quest I could find, full Paragon (but it doesn't really matter)... Only sidequest I didn't finish was finding the 3 salarian ID tags. But, the "find" quests don't get you anything in the end except for some credits and XP along the way.
See, with all bioware games, I always do every possible sidequest before I tackle any of the main quests. So, the game was good for the first 15-18 hours, but when you start tackling the main quests, the plot just explodes. It's absolutely fantastic (especially when you hit Virmire and beyond, but that was the last main quest of the 4 I undertook). I'm going through again now (you have the option of replaying your character), and I'm purely going through the main quest again to get the achievements for level 60 and another of the "having 'X' character along with you for the majority of the game." Then I'll restart and go through again with a new character on Hardcore for that achievement and to play Renegade.
This game is going to consume so much of my life as I believe you have to play it through 6 times to get all 1000 gamerscore points (which I will inevitably do).

I need to let the novelty wear off first to see if I believe the same thing, but right now I'd definitely put it in my top 5 (the others being Super Mario 3, Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, Star Wars: KOTOR, and the Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind). If you can't tell, I really like the text driven/morality RPG's.
