There are confirmations of the Nvidia 9800 series graphics cards supposedly coming out this or next month. As far as i know all of the posted specs have been false. Anyone know something I don't?

Not happening. There was speculation that the G92 graphics processors were going to be for the 9-series, but they're just being used in the new versions of the 8-series, for example the 8800GT and the new 8800GTS.

I would plan on some sort of 8900 variant before 9800, that has been Nvidia's MO in the past.

And before even that happens all these G92 revisions have to get done.
