I'd really like to downgrade mine, it is currently 3.51. I was wondering If anyone had one who could help me with the Pandora battery downgrade.

I didn't think you needed a modded PSP anymore to make a pandora's battery?

I'm pretty sure to actually create one you need one that already has custom firmware, because you have to run some program to convert the battery and you can't run that on a regular OS.

Sadly, downgrading from 3.51 is a bit tricky... but, once you have downgraded, installing custom firmware is easy.

You can try to follow this guide from GameFAQS to make that Pandora Battery. It also has a lot of information on installing custom firmware too.

Let me know if you still need some help...

Uhh I thought you can downgrade any firmware with a pandora's battery, that's why they own so much

I'm pretty sure you don't need to use another psp now. You can just run a program on your computer to setup the memory stick properly... if you have a slim, check out http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?t=538909

You can downgrade any psp (fat or slim) with a jugkick battery and magic memory stick (pandoras battery) I just switched my fat psp to 3.90 m-33.

I would suggest buying an extra battery cuz you have to solder a tiny pin back if you want to use yur battery after the change to cfw. Or theres a program call timemachine that apparently lets you use a pandoras battery like normal.

Also a pandoras battery can recover bricked psps so there is no need to worry about that. There is a way to do all this from your PC so you dont need another psp either.
