I was wondering if anyone was into the MGS series and if they had purchased the latest installment. Just trying to find out if it's worth buying right away or not.

i hope its longer then 2, i beat that in 3 or 4 sittings totaling just under 12 hours, was disappointingly short, still awesome, but short

I've got it and I beat it in about 12 or 13 hours, I think. It has much less story in the middle of the game than MGS2, though, so there's probably more gameplay. No two-hour periods of just sitting watching cutscenes/codec talks or anything. The ending is really good, too.

Good, the last thing I wanted was to have to sit there and watch the long cut-scenes just to be able to understand the story.
