Is there a limit to the number of credit hours you're allowed to take over the summer? I thought I heard that once, I think it was 9, can anyone confirm that?

Bah... My summers here in Rolla have been my favorite semesters here. I've been here the past two, and I'll be here again taking class. 9 hours too. So far it's looking like:

BE 110 (goddamn you Ed Raney for failing me... You old fat bastard with nasty green teeth)
English 160
Stat 213/215 (haven't decided which yet)

Since they're accelerated classes, 9 hours in the summer is equivalent to 18 hours in the fall or spring.

But I'll be taking 9 hrs, doing about 40 hrs of research a week, playing a few games of softball each week, AND drinking every night. Yup... It's gonna be a good summer once again. Can't wait for it!

I agree, 110 with Raney sucked, though I'm sure you showed up a lot more than I did. Last semester in general sucked for me. This time around I've got Mrs. Ross, she's not bad at all and she taught 110 in the summer session last year.

In Stat 215 you end up doing more statistics, and more pure statistics at that. Stat 213's what I'm taking now, and we cover the basics of statistical analysis and then roll it into a group project of your choosing. When one of my friends took it last spring, their group project involved going down to the Grotto and throwing darts. One of their experimental factors was how many beers they had before throwing. :D

Yeah, see I'll probably end up taking 213. Our course catalog says to take 215, but Tricia told me that she took Stat 213, and Dr. Mueller said it was fine and would count.

So hopefully I'll take Stat 213.

I dont know what the limit for hours is over the summer if taken at UMR but i took calc 2 and physics 23 in stlouis and it transferred as 10 hours last summer. Any yeah it destroys your summer life, especially when working 40 hours a week at the same time.

Where in Saint Louis did you take calc 2 and phys 23?
I'm hoping to get calc 2 out of the way this summer, but I haven't decided where to take it.

If you're in the North County area of St. Louis, Calc 2 credit from Florissant Valley transfers, cause it's what I did.
