Stupid calculator question time: I lost my instruction manual to my TI-89 a long time ago, and I've forgotten how to get the blasted thing to give me derivatives and integrals. Anyone know the proper command for these?

EDIT: I know how to bring up the command for integrals or derivatives, I just can't seem to get the format quite right for it to accept the input....

Like this:

For the random function, f(x)=3x^2+5x:

Derrivatives:
d(3x^2+5x,x)

Integrals:
S(3x^2+5x,x)

and if you want a definite integral: (lets say from 1 to 3)
S(3x^2+5x,x,1,3)

You can't do S(xsin(x),x) though, you need an explicit multiplication symbol: S(x*sin(x),x)

Double-thanks, this is gonna save my ass for a test tomorrow, because I haven't had any calc-related classes in a long time, and can't remember integrals or derivatives for the life of me right now.

Important Tip:

When bringing up the integral or derivative in the catalog menu, they list the format below the menu itself. So if you highlighted the integral function, it would list at the bottom:

EXPR,VAR[,LOW,UP]

(expression, variable, min, max) respectiveley.

Also, if you have a fraction in the standard numerator/denominator format and you want a decimal approximation, just hit the diamond key below the 2nd key and press enter.
