I'm looking into my schedule for next semester and all the 3xx level CS courses look kind of lame. Software Testing and Quality Assurance seems like it could go either way as far as being easy or hard (or interesting/boring for that matter), so I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the class or Liu himself.
I'm pretty sure the course has changed since I took it but...
I found it to be an easy course - but I had just come off a six month stint where Software Testing is what I did extensively. It's not a code intensive class except for the final project which entailed about 30 hours of work total.
Overall, it's a good class to take. Dr. Lui isn't *that* bad once you get past the Joker-syndrome and every Comp. Sci. should learn proper testing techniques.
