Starting in August, we are thinking of getting an epic D&D campaign together.

Looking for a few (at least slightly) experienced players. Even if you havent done D&D, Kotor and WoW players should get the hang of it quickly.

Preferably have knowledge of the game, cause we're thinking about doing a rotation DM.

So if you feel like killing avatars and gods, drop a post and such.

can you explain a bit more..cuz i might be interested..depending the time available to me?

We havent ironed out all of the details yet, but here's what i know.

It is set in stone that we will be playing in TJ. Probably will be jumping around each session.

The rotational DM thing works like this. Each session, a different person will DM a scenario that they created. You choose a god, set up the battle against the god, and an avatar or guardian of some sort, as well as minions that compliment the god's powers. (Aprodite would have cherubs, Olidamara would have thieves and bandits). There will be one person who will be 'head' DM to regulate the rewards of each quest. While you are DMing you will still participate in combat with your character. If, while you are DMing you want to have the god try to negotiate or talk with the team, your character wont participate in that, except for bluff checks, diplomacy checks, and the like.

We're making super characters, with some kind of special power. There will be a consensus of all the players to make sure each power is balanced. I'm working on a couple of character ideas, like a bard that has extra suggestion to be a 'jedi mind trick' character, a fighter with extra arms a la general greivous, and a sorcerer/arcane archer with a better magical arrow. So you can start thinking about characters like that.

The rest will be worked out when we start. Which will be the week after move in.

I want to crank my cleric necromancer up to epic level, just so I can control my own personal army. Did you ever decide when you were going to start your campaign, by the way? You mentioned it a whlie back, but I never really heard anything else about it.

Dont know if this one is going to happen this semester. Probably will be next semester if it happens at all.

If you have it during the week i'll probably be there. If its on the weekends I doubt i can come regularly
