Anyone with this game every get a successful LAN game to work? My friend and I couldn't get the fucker to work right for LAN.

My room has had the same problem.. me and one of my suite mates could get on and play, but my suite mates' room mate couldn't get on... We think it has something to do with the subnet you're on/assigned to.. i think.. i can't exactly remember the name.. a little too tired.. all i can remember is that it was the third set of digits in our ip..

I got mine to work after doing some serious fucking with it. At first we tried just getting on the same 6 port hub with nothing else connected and that still wouldn't work. This game does have some lan issues. How could this pass as a final product?

There's already a patch out for it, so we tried updating and it still didn't do shit.

How did you finally get it to work FallOut? And, in theory, we both are in the same subnet, since he lives on 7S and I on 8S

I also got the LAN to work ^-^, but the down side is you have to spend a few hours screwing with settings and downloading other progams :s. All in all it was worth it =]. Must be a TRUE Haxor to get this to work!!!!

Has anyone else thought that the graphics on this are pretty bad? I mean I went from playing Diablo II to DS 2 and there is not a real marked improvement. Anyone else notice how grainy it is?

You are, in fact, retarded. He blatently told you, but...to make sure. A step-by-step guide. Screenshots can be provided if necessary.

Download Hamachi
Install Hamachi
Restart Computer
Open Hamachi
Choose "Join an existing network"
Type in the Server name "-umr"
The password for the above server, "-umr", is rolla.
Connect to the server.

and if you dont restart your computer after installing hamachi ds2 will tell you your name is taken and you cant connect to the lan.
