If I were to bring my xbox could I hook it up in the dorm room and play on xblive on it? Do you have to register the xbox too?
Or would I have to bring a router and stuff and connect the xbox through the router?

how would you get the mac address from the xbox.. one that is not modded that is

go to network settings then advanced

you can actually make the MAC address anything you want on your xbox

I set my xbox mac address to the same as my Laptop wireless card and it works just fine. Saves some time in having to register another card.
