I left my laptop in the 10S lounge for a couple hours to find the lounge locked and the lock was busted so I couldn't get in until now. I found the laptop gone. Anybody know anybody who recently obtained an Apple iBook recently?

assuming you've already checked with the cops and lost & found places and nobody has turned it in... you might talk to karl lutzen. when whoever connects with it, he can get the ip address & find out who it is.

I doubt somebody's going to connect with it as it was running on battery and manual networking mode so by the time the idiot finds out how to turn DHCP on, the battery will be out. (I have the AC adaptor.)

Are you saying that no one in the dorms steal anything, or that the thieves aren't assholes? Or that you are an idiot?
People in the dorms steal stuff. So do people anywhere else. I'd feel more comfortable leaving my TI-89 out in lounge than I would most other places.
