What exactly is MODOT doing on 44? Like i know the ramp from university dr is closed, so my guess is they are going to make a new one. but that does not fit, because from my window it seems they have quite a bit of road blocked. So does anyone know what's up?

They're making 44 three lane. They're going tear down vichy road bridge that goes over 44 and rebuild sometime later.

The work consists of improvements to the shoulder. The traveled way width of the adjacent lane may be reduced. Loose material or tacky asphalt surface may be encountered along or on the shoulder.

going to walmart from TJ, turn right at that first light separating TJ's and paneras parking lots, it goes over 44

That should take you pretty much centered on the bridge. That's going to suck for everyone who lives back in those apartments/houses.

Im one of them and yes it will!!! I feel sorry for all the people who usually walk that way. It will now take them 1hr to get to campus.

I might be looking for a roommate depending on who might be looking for a more convenient place to live.

they are repaving the bridge over to frat dr. and they are going to be doing beautification to the on/off ramps to make it more pretty for people coming to see campus.
