I'm currently with phpwebhosting.com, been there for over three years now, paying $10 /month for basically everything. Problem is, just recently one of there servers crashed and my account was basically down for almost two months while they did a fsck on the drive (retarded). When it came back up, everything was screwed up, and has been for a while now. I've emailed them several times and get "its fixed" but it never is.

Wondering if anyone has any recommendations for cheap hosting services that offer php/mysql support, and the ability to use their ssl certificate, I don't want to buy my own right now.

Thanks,
Ern

their pretty good. I've seen a few debates about this. turned out to be about a tie between dreamhost and icdsoft. More people knew of dreamhost though. Hope that helps.

godaddy.com is like $3 a month for 5 GB of space, php, and like 10 MySQL databases I think.

Become an ACM member? Members get PHP-enabled webspace and a MySQL database (if desired) on acm.cs.umr.edu. Not too bad for $18 a year... though I don't think we can help you with the SSL certificate.

Dreamhost has some good deals if you use a coupon (there are tons of coupons out there just get one that give you $97 back)
it comes to under $30 a year for very nice hosting
