Based on her picture, she'll be buying $20,000 worth of meth

She's not skinny enough to be a meth addict. Goddamnit, learn your drugs you failure.

awesome

Also, I like how she intends to pay off debts with the winnings. That tells me that she should have spent less time buying lottery tickets, and more time being financially responsible. $20,000 in debt is a pretty big hole, and the reason I am making a big deal out of it is because it is credit cards, and I guess there is a car loan too.

If she bought two or three lottery tickets every time she bought a mountain dew, she's probably put nearly that much into tickets to begin with - especially after you consider that your friendly .gov will take a good 40% of it.

At least she is paying them off, instead of spending the $20k on worthless crap and still having all the debt (as many people would do).

I love what she says next.

"And if there's any money left, I'm gonna buy a couch."

:D

Oh, don't worry. I'm sure that as soon as they're paid off, she'll just go rack up more charges.

People do not realize how small their chance of winning is. There can be a thousand people spending $5 everyday on tickets, and after one year, one of them should have won the jackpot. Meanwhile, the other 999 are a couple thousand dollars poorer and the government is a couple thousand dollars richer. Luckily most lottery taxes go towards the school systems, so eventually people should learn.
