Hey,

I need to send out some letters to people, and all I have is there dorm address. This is a twofold question.

#1) Is there campus mail somewhere - if so do I just need to put the name/dorm/dorm room and will it get there? Where would I drop those off

#2) if thats not possible what are the addresses for 1) Res College 2) Holman 3) McAnerney 4) Kelly

1) You should be able to drop them off at whatever dorm you're at, or just send them through US post. If you send it through the campus mail, you don't need postage.

Name
Dorm room and number
Address of dorm
Rolla, MO 65409

2) For Holtman, McAnerny, and Kelley, the address is 601 W. 10th St. for all of them.

I believe the word you were looking for is "their" not "there".

As long as you have the hall and room number, I don't think you really need anything else. The Rolla post office has been pretty good to me about getting me my mail with just the hall.

He also meant residence hall...not dorm.

Is it 65401 or 09? I had 09 as my zip in Joes, and when the registrar had to mail something to me, the person who sent out out included a note that its 01 :?

I've used both of them before and have successfully received stuff, I'm just curious what the official one is.

Rolla itself is 65401, except for P.O. Boxes which are 65402. I think campus may have its own zip, but I'm not positive on that, so maybe that is where the 65409 comes in at.

The Res. College is 700 University Drive

And I think Trav2003 meant what he said.

Rolla is 65401
PO Boxes are 65402
University mailings are to the "University Depot" which is 65409
EXCEPT....mail for the res halls is delivered by the Rolla USPS, so they're 65401
And I think that's what you need, I just lost vertical hold on my monitor and I can't see what I'm typing. Stupid $3 monitor.

If you're on campus, mailing to people in dormitories with campus addresses, then address an envelope like this:

CAMPUS MAIL
Joe Freakin' Miner Dude With a Pickax
666 TJ Hall

And then take your pretty envelope to any Campus Mail drop. There's one at TJ front desk, Kelly front desk, there'll be one at the front desk of the ResCo, there's one at Havener by the Information desk, and there's one on the lawn between Civil and the library, right between the library and Fulton Hall.

The reason you bold "Campus Mail" is so some numbnuts doesn't decide to put it in the USPS outgoing mail...where your letter will go to Undeliverable Mail Hell.
