im looking for a program that will let me use my joystick like my kbd, for a slightly older game that doesnt support joysticks, but it should.

so i want to bind the up on the d-pad to the up arrow.. etc

If the game's old enough, it may be suseptable to keyboard hooking enabling you to use a program like autohotkey to read the joystick and simulate key presses as a result.

If you have a Logitech joystick, their Wingman software can do that, although the interface blows the 7 seas.
