Found this on foxnews, great info on Windows Vista. It's pretty long, but informative. It lists several reasons why Vista won't suck (note that they explicitly say 'we don't know if it'll be great, but here's why it won't suck').
So, that's good to know. From what they say, Vista sounds pretty nice... Of course I think I'll be waiting 2 or 3 years to see how it goes, and maybe by then I'll have a computer with the umpteen gigs of memory needed for Vista.

It'll take a few years like you said. Right now, Vista is the slowest OS I've ever used. I used XP at launch, and it felt fast. I even liked XP the first time I tried it. I haven't enjoyed Vista yet.
